Woman: Yeah I’m actually a trainee at the moment. I’m training to be a hair dresser.

Becky: I want to become a trainee hair dresser too.
Woman: Do you? When do you want to do that? When you get older?
Becky: Right now.
Woman: Well you have to be a bit older; you have to be 16 to do it.
Becky: I’m ready now.

Becky: Will I practice my chat on you?
Woman: Yeah, do.
Becky: A hairdresser chat.
Woman: Yeah do. You tell me all about that.
Becky: Because it’s very important.
Woman: Yeah it is. It’s the most important part of the icing.

Becky: So you’re on the holidays? Are you working at the moment? What do you think of that?
Woman: That’s very good. Were you practicing that for long?
Becky: Yeah I have more.

Becky: Who did your roots last time…
Woman: I think you’ll have to be a bit more subtle than that.
Becky: Do you go on courses to ask silly questions to customers.
Woman: Yeah we go on courses to train and learn how to do colors and generally prepare us to become hair dressers.
Becky: Do you have to sweep the hair off the floor?
Woman: Yeah you have to sweep all the hair off the floor and put it in the bin and do all the color and all things like that.
Becky: Do you ever pick the hair off and put it on your head?
Woman: No I wouldn’t do that. The girls here are telling me to tell you that they love…
Becky: that’s great.
Woman: And we might let you train with us.
Becky: Here can you book me in for a color?
Woman: I can yeah, how old are you?
Becky: 8.
Woman: You have to be 16 to get color in your hair Becky.
Becky: Uh do us a favor.
Woman: Yeah I will do. If you come in and see me I will.
Becky: I hope you’re not hung over and have the shakes.
Woman: No I won’t be hung over till Sunday morning.
