Anchor: High drama on the Texas Highway caught on tape and it ends with a 72 year old great grandmother being tasered. Watch this. Police say it started when she refused to sign a speeding ticket. And started to disobey officers so they tased her.
Officer: Get over here now!
Woman: Give it to me and I’ll sign it. Oh, oh, oh, you’re going to shove me? You’re going to shove a 72 year old woman?
Anchor: She was squared off with him. Police say the woman continued to ignore orders so they took action.
Officer: Tasered! You’re on the ground! You’re on the ground.
Woman: [Screams]
Officer: Now put your hands behind your back.
Woman: [Screams]
Officer: Put your hands behind your back or you’re going to be tasered again!
Woman: Owe, owe.
Anchor: I am saying overreacted officer. Yes, officers insisted they acted by the book. What book is that? The grandma was taken to jail and released. She insists she is innocent.
